Home Office Nook | Centsational Style

I’ve been in Florida a thirty day period and for the very first couple weeks I was doing work with my laptop on a dining space table, then I at last got close to to placing up a dwelling office environment nook. When we purchased this house this area was a breakfast space but given that there’s a dining home house on the other aspect of the kitchen I believed it was unnecessary to have a second 1 so I turned the breakfast nook into a home business nook in its place.

It’s a superior use of this room, I can search out the entrance window and enjoy what’s occurring in my front garden. It also makes it possible for me to have 3 bedrooms since I’m not working with just one of those areas as an office.

I blended boho with palm beach style, including a simple white desk and bookshelf and using my have artwork to enhance it. The pastel palette of peach, pinks, and tender blues will take its cue from the nearby ocean waters and sunset skies.

When I moved in, this is what the room appeared like. The previous proprietor left a three piece established that is not my design and the ceiling supporter was dated.

I changed the ceiling admirer with an open air white cage light-weight that also functions as a supporter and it produces a minimal breeze. The desk is just huge ample to in shape my notebook and a number of equipment.

I found this great little tech cord organizer to hide USB cables and tied them up with vibrant velcro zip ties. Now all my cords are in a person position and I can cost though I function or overnight.

I desired greenery but I’m only decorating with faux plants for now. Simply because I have to have to float again and forth amongst Florida and California for awhile, it helps make no perception investing in serious indoor crops just nonetheless. Moreover you can locate wonderful fakes these days!

I found a number of synthetic crops on sale at Michaels, and also at Goal. Afloral is a fantastic resource for artificial vegetation and botanical stems. The artwork is from my print shop, back links under.
