A week on Ohau | Justina Blakeney

Watch from the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens

I just got again from a family vacation on Oahu with loved ones. We spent the 7 days on the seashores on  the North Shore, hiking up wild hills, ingesting from food items vehicles, taking part in game titles and decompressing. We even tried out browsing for the very first time.  It was a extremely mellow excursion and wonderful to reconnect with character and commit some excellent time with individuals that I really like. Under, some snaps from our walks via the Waimea Falls Park & Botanical Gardens and a prolonged hike we took.

I am a *very* sluggish hiker, and whilst I hike I get pleasure from making repeated stops to get pics, and go “foraging” for colors, designs and designs that encourage my style and design function. (You can understand extra about my ‘foraging’ practice in my ‘Jungalow: Decorate Wild’ ebook 🙂

On this hike, I collected some fallen foliage and issues. When I acquired back again to the lodge, I made a few collages that spotlight the different colours, designs, designs and textures. The polka-dotted leaves are my most loved! They are spores on the leaves, which are reproductive constructions (variety of like seeds).

Of training course, I had to #facethefoliage even though I was at it…
